The seller doesn't say it is silver, or what metal it might be, or what exactly this is supposed to be. In fact the seller's only description is the title (1973 Washington quarter....no clad....wow!). In the description they add "NO QUESTIONS OR ADDITIONAL FOTOS PLEASE."

OK, so seller wants $500 plus shipping.

What have we here? An off-metal error, PMD, or deception?

1973-

Probably silver plated. I would send an e-mail asking what this quarter weighs. That should solve the mystery(pronounced - de sep SHen)

If you check his feedback, all the items I viewed have the same description..
Talk about a lazy seller not wanting to take questions!

By calling them "fotos" he could be Asian which puts a whole negative no-no site spin possibility on it. But his fingers don't seem to speak to that plus all the other wording is correct. Still though. I'm thinking no-no site. Do the claws look strange to anyone else?

Just messaged the seller and told him I bought a roll of these from the no-no site and that they all look just like his. I also told him I paid 20 cents per coin. Of course, I'm lying. Curious to see if he replies.
Rest in Peace

If

applies, then no 2 cents much less $500.00 coming from here. Thanks, Doug.
Rest in Peace

The seller responded with: "Send a picture please. Thanks!"

So I replied:

1973-

I'm just doing this to test his response. I did also mention that it could be silver plated.

The hub pairing looks correct, so I am leaning towards plated.

I do find it amusing that the seller denies requests for "additional fotos", but when you contact them, the seller responded with: "Send a picture please. Thanks!"

In the mean time....

"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
