Daniel Carr can strike 1945 Roosevelt dimes, 1922-D WLH, 1915 Mercury dimes, etc. What do you think of this?

http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odk...oln&_sacat=0

This seller doesn't specify that they were struck over a genuine Lincoln Cent. Seller says "They were produced by the mint I use to produce my Mythical, Fantasy, and Novelty coins." In fact, these are Chinese counterfeits (complete with wheat stalk die chip), just of dates/mint marks that never existed).

Example: 1922 Lincoln Cent - none were ever minted.

Seller also has a 1909-D VDB, 1910 VDB, 1933-s, 1957-S, and a few dozen more.

If Carr can do it, I guess this guy can do it. Or do you think these are counterfeits because they had a Chinese mint make these, but not overstriking genuine Lincoln Cents?

If Daniel Carr had produced these , Then I suppose they would be "Best Sellers".
But as they have been produced in China then I suppose they are just a nasty counterfeit.

I find that a little bit weird

The Daniel Carr coins are real collector pieces and are very high quality. Chinese knock offs are not.

Which is completely irrelevant.

So are you trying to say that the American Knock offs are far superior to the Chinese knock offs ?
They are both fantasy coin manufacturers.

Just my opinion; which usually runs counter to the majority on this board.

Dan Carr breaks the spirit, if not the letter of law, and I have no use for his products.

These. items. also break the spirit, if not the letter of the law, and I have no use for them either.

As stated above this is my opinion. It is not necessarily the opinion of this broadcaster.yada yada.
