Yet-Another-Unidentified-Coin-Topic-[yauct]-Heavily-Worn-Silver?-Coin

Something tells me there are folks here who can tell me more about this coin that I can tell any of you... Just a random item in my treasure chest, though it would be interesting to learn more about it...

Ahah! 1) sorry, I see now there is a forum specifically for unidentified coins, but I'd say you might have nailed it. I note that the page linked specifies a weight of 1.7g but the coin I have is weighing in at 2.1g

Is that a plausible difference for a coin from 1737?

I do not think this coin is a ½ real coin, but rather a 1 real coin. The first picture is upsidedown, but look at the symbol on the right side (with the coin right side up) between the middle image and the legend. The ½ real coin has a cross, while the 1 real coin has an I. Here is a link to the 1 real coin.

The 1 real coin weighs 3.38 grams, but the coin pictured looks quite worn, which could explain the weight difference.
