I'm looking forward to this as well. I will have to wait until August 7th before I post but I will enjoy watching until then!

It looks like I have a fair bit of Photoshop/GIMP processing coming up in the near future, for this thread. Hopefully the existing (unprocessed) photos are all acceptable, so I don't need to photograph anything again.
I'm assuming the 1907-O and 1908-O coins are to be posted on Sept 20,along with the 1909-O?

One more day, or more accurately, a few more hours for the night owls.

Dang it!! I propose, if JBuck will help me change the original post, to add 2 days, extending this thread to 55 Days and adding both 1907 and 1908 to the schedule of events. It seems the best way.

A very good start. That 1838-O Half Dime is really nice! I have wanted one for a very long time and never seem to find one that fits.

I'm afraid the moment I venture into Half Dimes, I will never look back and just start buying and buying and buying. Outside of my type (1829/1853) examples I have avoided out of fear of going truly broke! Its an awesome little series of coins. And the Capped Bust ones are truly amazing to look at.
