I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction for this feudal French coin. There's not a lot to go on lettering wise, but that odd sinuey feature in the circle might be enough to work from. I've scanned all the feudal coins on MA shops etc but can't seem to locate anything similar.

It's not French but Italian coin from Milan.

Nice job @dagonx, I agree.

The inscriptions appear to be B G VICECOMITES and MEDIOLAM and if so, then the attribution would be Biaggi 1458. That is a mezzo soldo of the Viscounts Galeazzo and Barnabo and dates from 1355-1378. Great coin and thanks for sharing!

Thanks spence for that helpful attribution. I don't have any good referrences for this particular type of coin so I was strugelling to find it online.

It came in a small group of French deniers which I'll post below when I get time - just for info.
