Reverse pic for now, grade. No cheating, it is from RCNA Bell auction.

Going by the reverse only
which I find harder to grade,
I would say VG10.

VG8
Too much wear on the leaves and crown for anything higher.
There must be a punchline coming.
Is it higher grade?
Is it OBV5?

Very few "collectors" of coins in this price range care that the 3 is exceptionally well struck.
Their money is riding on the number at the upper left corner of the slab.

VG-8 or VG-10, assuming the wear on the reverse is consistent with the obverse. Not the ideal way of grading.

Probably true, but it's a nice bonus.

I think it would get a VG-10 because of the crown. The bottom of the coin seem closer to G6 but that could be the strike.

These coins tend to be convex on the reverse and concave on the obverse. If the reverse looks that good, the obverse should be F-12 or better...
