Trying to figure out how to post picture of a 1988 Lincoln double ear. Feel blessed since re-starting this fantasticly addicting hobby. Few weeks ago I found a 1999 Wide AM. Verified and validated by local coin shops. And now this. Question what path is the best to get these evaluated and stabbed. I'm not a rich man. Ive been disabled from a terrible accident I was in back in 2004. Any and all suggestions are gratefully appreciated. Going to try up loading pictures.

That's the best picture I can get using a magnifier on lenses of my tablet.

That is not the double ear doubled die, it should look like this. Your coin suffers from either common Machine Doubling damage or it took a hit from another coin, I cannot quite tell since the image is a little fuzzy.

Thanks Bio. Would it be worthwhile to have this graded? If not for any financial gain but to end my wishful thinking. Lol

Misfit - not a bad effort getting your picture. But unfortunately, this is not the DDO you were hoping it was. Most of us are on budgets like you, so to stretch it, be sure to post your coins here for validation. There are many good folks here able to give you feedback for free.

I wish you the best...and welcome back to the hobby! It's a great way to lose yourself for a bit.

Thank you. I'm going to post my 1999 Wide AM. Just going to take picture in the morning. Hopefully the Suns Rays will help capturing it to get a guesstimate about where it would fit. Hoping to be Extra fine or better.

It is correct that it is not that DDO:
1988-Double-Ear-Lincoln-Cent.
Looks like coin contact or MD. The earlobe on yours is normal sized. Not how much larger the DDO earlobe is?

Not the DDO, but did you check for a RDV-006?

on the 99 WAM.
