Here are a few photos of a 1927 Lincoln Cent; I believe it to be MD but I would always defer to the experts here! I apologize for the bad photos; if need be I will try to improve them.

Interesting 1927 cent considering the second two photos are of a memorial reverse.

All the photos you have posted here are Machine Doubling.

Is it the photo quality and image capture, the coins, or possibly the lens that make it look like the pictures have a fingerprint on them?

I believe those markers on the screen are of a monitor. Perhaps using Eyeclops or something similar to magnify on a television screen.

The "fingerprint" is known at the "moire effect", which is produced by the overlay of two uniform grid patterns. In this case, a TV screen's regular dot pattern has been captured by a digital camera, where the second rasterization creates the moire. Needless to say, this makes it tough to resolve details that are on the order of the pattern's scale.

Bill...I have trouble typing accents/special characters on my PC, so I do a copy/paste from Google. The same goes for the €uro symbol--it should be easier!

Great Idea! Yeah, I am horrible with key commands and special fonts and such. I like that Idea. I also want to be able to do those little dots above the letter O as seen in some languages. Umlauts wouldn't be bad either:-)

Maybe I can cut and paste a bunch of the ones I would like to use into one document and cut and paste from there.

Thanks Kurt!
