The one on the bottom is missing almost all letters on the five cents, the o and n and 1 l on Monticello. The top nickel is missing his mouth. Again, very new to this. Thank you for your replies.(KNOWLEDGE)

The missing letters were most likely caused by a Grease Filled Die. The missing mouth is probably due to the die being over polished. If you make another attempt at pictures, maybe take them farther away so they can be in focus. Then you can crop away the space around the coin so the image can be larger.

I agree with Fuzzy. While these nickels aren't worth anything over their base value, you should feel good about noticing these things. It suggests you've got the eye for details needed in this hobby. Once you get more experience with what is and isn't a valuable error, feature, etc. you'll be in great shape!
