Hey everyone! I just started collecting coins about a month or so ago. Feel like I'm already addicted... I am mostly interested in coin roll hunting for pennies right now, but I am sure I will eventually venture out. Appreciate the community (from what I've read so far) and appreciate any advice going forward.
For anyone interested, in my first month I have found 15 wheaties and what I believe to be a 1970 S Small Date -- I'm no expert, but it sure looks very similar to the ones I've researched!
Best of luck to everyone!

Welcome, and can't wait to see a picture of the small date. I have not found one yet. I enjoy coin roll hunting pennies too.

Oh, it's that one guy! On a more serious note, welcome aboard! Wow, I'm impressed that you have found so many Lincoln wheat cents - great job! The die variety experts on this forum are remarkable - amazing depth and breadth of knowledge. ~ Mark

There's coins all over the place. Old chairs and couches, around walk up windows, bar or tavern exits, amusement park rides, car washes, parking meters, laundromats, fountains; did I mention getting permission? An orange vest with a hazmat logo, plus a respirator will make people leave you alone often. And the orange safety hat if it's not too hot. Have a bag for trash. Be nice to the cops, even if they are being jerks. I worked for a state agency, once, and we had a big to-do that the governor (Reagan) had to settle. About us occasionally driving across freeway medians to do our job. The CHIPS won. We added monitors for their frequencies to a number of our vehicles. Problem solved.
