Maple Leaf and Welcome to the World are in Year 6 of the
series, nice time to split the O Canada Box. The Zodiac
Series of 1/2 ounce coins and their Privy Bullion
counterparts are in Year 5 so fill the box nicely.
Another pic of purely random 1/2 ounce and other coins.
Enjoy some collection pictures on an otherwise slow
summer day.

What an interesting yet diverse display! I hadn't realized that several of what's shown within your collection are exactly the same diameter. The silver 1939 Royal Visit Medallion, by including it, thinking "out of the box", can't help but chuckle, a Bluejay and Superman side by side.... Obviously you collect NCLT on the basis of some type of personal significance -- that's what gets one hooked! LOL!

Thanks for the comments. Appreciated, it is a pleasure
to collect these affordable yet desirable - as Silveroid
says, sets and to be keen to see the next year's version.

Yes WildflowerAB,
Many of the 1/2 ounce, 34 mm coins are $10 face value
(exceptions 2011 Welcome to the World - $4 face, 2012 1 Cent, and
Superman 2013 1/2 ounce - $15 face). I have a bunch of
those as they were about $30-$40 per coin when I started.
The Zodiac and the Maples are all Specimen finish as well
so there is another set. The Bluejay was a gift but fits
well with other things that fly ala Superman, the gold
gilt coins are some of my favourites, would like to add
the ROM and Sir John A coins there as a set). My Zodiac
SML Privy coins are milk spot free, so will continue to
collect the next 6 going forward. Zodiac, Maples and
Baby coins seem to be strong inexpensive ongoing series.

Royal Visit was a good seat filler.

These presentation boxes are really cool! I'd like the RCM to offer more tray options for smaller size coins, like 20 for 20.

Well done, SilverDon!
