I've got 2 $100 bills that appear to be miscut. The do have a light crease in the middle, but other than that seem to be in good shape. They are sequential numbers so not sure if that matters or not. Anyway, what I am trying to figure out is if they are worth anything or if I should just go ahead and spend them. Any help you all could provide would be of great help.

First of all, I can't say, based on these pictures, if this is an 'authentic' error or not. What I do know, however, is that there is a few people buying sheets and cutting them as errors and sell them as such, with a big premium on top of their home-cut bills, of course. The same way people tamper with bills by removing some parts (like a seal or so) in a sometimes clumsy way and try to sell them as premiums. The fact that the numbers are so close gives me the idea that these bills might not have ended up like this 'by accident'. You can start by checking if the serial numbers are legit. I personally would try to spend them as soon as possible, but you might want to have an expert have a look at the bills directly, so not just at the pictures, and get his or her opinion first.

I thought that when you bought a sheet of notes the SN starts with 99? Also can you even buy a sheet of hundreds? John1

If authentic, I don't think these are going to be worth much, given their circulated condition. But I'm also not convinced they're authentic. Spend.

You need to measure those and compare to other notes. It is possible that someone just cut a tiny bit off the top.

So I didn't measure buy I held it up to another bill and it's clear that the bills here are a bit thinner. Lending me to believe someone jacked it up.

If it had been a real error it still wouldn't have been worth a great deal. The error notes that worth big money have very striking errors. Better luck next time.
