I am a new member. living in Victoria, Australia. looking for advice
I have a boxed, silver set of 6, Isle of Man 1988 Bicentenary of Australia, coins. Would any body have any idea what they are worth.

There are, apparently, several different sets of these: silver proof (made of sterling silver), regular proof (made of cupronickel, apparently this set only has four coins) and uncirculated (made of cupronickel).

Which do you have? There's presumably some Pobjoy Mint paperwork with the set somewhere that tells you which one you have. The silver one is obviously going to be worth more than the others. For individual coins, the cupronickel ones catalogue about $15 each, the silver ones for $175 each.

Souldn't this be in the UK or World coin forum! It is Isle of Man afterall.
