I Found My First Error Note In Circulation Today ... I Think ?

The upper note is the one I found today. The S/N on the upper note seems to be higher than the note below it. Is this considered an ERROR note?

Both serial numbers on that note are a bit higher than you'd expect.

But, no, it's not an error note. A little bit higher and serial numbers would have been printed on top of the other design elements -- and then it would have been noticed by an alert BEP employee (or an optic scanner) and removed then destroyed.

Everything is so automated -- I don't think it will be easy for error notes to escape on their own.

ALL green ink (seal and S/Ns) seems a bit high. I appreciate ALL opinions as I am not well learned in error notes. Thanx

I do not believe it would be considered an error.

The third print is higher than normal, but within BEP tolerances.

That's what I figured when I first read/saw your thread. I still believe the upper note is still within BEP tolerances.
