Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 08/14/2016 5:15 pm I purchased this 1831 Capped Bust half dollar for $89. With the toning around the rims I think it has not been cleaned, but I'm still learning the art of detecting cleaned and non-cleaned coins. There are no cleaning hairlines visible. There is some light wear and scattered marks. There is still luster in the devices. The photos are in the seller's holder, however, for the price I paid I think I'll keep this one even if the opinion is that it has been cleaned.
