This isn't as bold as the notorious 1945 DDR nickel, but it is an RPM!
Feel free to give a grade and value estimate for this piece.

Could be #17, so check for DDO on the outer lettering. I thought #12 initially myself from the close-up, but the full reverse pic looks sort of like #17.

Nice coin. Looks like an MS63 but I'm a rookie at grading. Looks like light staining as opposed to wear on the obverse pic. Dr. Wiles guestimate on value around $15. RB has it at $8.

Closer images would help a lot. Something like this size/closeness.

No this isn't a real pair of die cracks, but saw it saw if I had to make it. LOL
But an image showing at least this close if not closer of the mint mark area.

There is a nickel with one Die Crack running through the S. I can't remember what they call it though.
It appears to be high grade. A close-up of the mintmark might be very valuable in determining a value.

Still too much glare on the left side of the mint mark.
Use something to diffuse the light.
Try rotating you normal position 180 degrees to let the light fall across the devices, instead of shinning directly on them. (this causes glare and turns every thing white on the area we want to see.

It's hard to get pics without glare. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. The p was struck over another p in the west, which you can see towards the top. Can't tell if it's triple struck though.

You can diffuse your light source with one or two sheets of paper. One light is best. Good pics are important for accurate evaluations.

Have you checked for doubling on the obverse: IGWT and LIBERTY.
