Came across this tonight. I tried to capture what reminds me of a "twisted ribbon" effect but it's not working the way I'd like. Can you tell by my pics if this is the rotated die effect when one side of a letter is higher than the other?

No this is machine damage, a rotated die is when you turn a coin centered, and the other side is rotated
