Are there any known examples of a 1945-S sans-serif in any denomination? As I understand, the earliest was 1946 and uncommon even for this date.

Thanks! Great forum you guys have, btw.

The coin in question is a 1945-S/S Lincoln Cent. The top S is a trumpet-tail, but I cannot identify the S underneath. The closest in appearance is the sans-serif S from 1946, but how could that be possible? Alternatively, I thought perhaps an older S mintmark from 1943-1944 (with straight serifs). That also seems unlikely. Any insight or suggestions are appreciated.

It is a trumpet tailed example. The contact mark distorted the shape of the mint mark.
