Having some debate on a facebook group online about it. Someone put it up for sale for a 140 BIN price, and I believe it's a F-15 details, maybe pushing to a VF-25 details max. I could be wrong, but there's a claim that it's been slabbed previously and graded XF by NGC, and was broken out. Tell me what you guys think. I was thinking details due to obverse pitting as it appears. Maybe I'm loosing it from being absent on here for a bit, haha. Just let me know what you think.    |

the reverse would make F15 but I think he obverse is more like a 12. XF...someone was dreaming

Unless the NGC grader was drunk there is no way that comes close to an XF when you can't even read "Liberty" on the headband. I'd call if Fine, Details (not putting a specific number on it though).

I PMed the seller, he went ballistic, anyways....
He ended up lowering the BIN to 115 and showed me a pic of the slab (privately, not in the auction have you) that said VF details Environmental damage, and he claimed (then deleted in the post) it was an XF.
