1819 Large Cent For Grading, N-9A - Coin Community Forum

paralyse Bedrock of the Community United States 12057 Posts	Posted 08/18/2016 9:08 pm This old girl just showed up today. 1819 Coronet Large Cent. A bit darker in hand than photos, closer to a dark chocolate or dark reddish chocolate. Pics make it look like chocolate with steel. Variety is N-9a (TA in STATES connected, broken large T in CENT, recut R in AMERICA) No major distractions, just the usual circulation wear. Photos make the reverse look dirty; it's not. Fields are clean and no porosity noted. Thoughts on a grade? I'm thinking Good+/VG.
