I finally did it. Got all holes filled except for the hard 3. Still missing the 1893, '94, and '95. Will eventually get these. About 3/4 is MS and one is a low VG. Will be upgrading a few as time goes on. On the second page is my 1891 Toned Morgan. This picture captured the color as it looks in hand. There are a few that I am having a hard time find the VAMs for, especially the 1921s' I think it looks great! On another note, is this worth getting appraised? Very nice looking set This is one of my favorite Dansco .. I do have lots of favorites. Those last three are harder to find in better price coins, that still look good.

I do think it is very interesting that you have so many VAMs identified.
Not sure if I should start that adventure.

Not sure if I should start that adventure. It can add value to Morgan dollar depending on VAM and condition. Every Morgan has a VAM. The trick is finding it. Take a look at http://www.vamworld.com. Find a year and mint that you have that there aren't too many listed to start with. 1892-S for example only has a few different ones it can be. Once you get good at it(like Dave700x)you will be able to pick up on the small details to look for when browsing. Don't be shy about asking for help from CCF as well. I would be more than willing to help in anyway way I can.

Your right Jbuck, I have been in the VAM CCF section. Some Morgan's have some much going on with them, die breaks and die clashes, that I get curious which VAM they might be. But I have this album plus the two album complete Morgan set and a dealer stock book. The thought of trying to figure out all those VAM's would make my head hurt.

Probably best to save that idea for when you have everything you want and you just want to know more about them.
