Doubt it's a proof, but sharper straight-on pics with better lighting would tell a lot - it does look like a very nice example. Please rotate your pics to correct position next time!

I see many bag marks on Liberty's face. I think these are bag marks. I don't believe Proof coins ever have bag marks. The idea being that the coin went right from the machine to a slab. Correct me if I am wrong.

Impaired proofs can have dings and marks, but this looks like a business strike.

Morgan dollars often can have proof like fields, giving that sort of "proof" appearance. There are a few markers, however, that proof coins have that non-proof examples do not have.

Probably the easiest "marker" to identify, proofs tend to have no bag marks, as they weren't minted for circulation. While this is not ALWAYS the case, as sometimes they may be spent on accident, stolen, etc, and thus enter circulation, this is accurate more than 99% of the time. One marker that is more definitive, is proofs have squared denticles, whereas business strikes have rounded denticles (which are the patterned indents along the inside rim of the coin). To give a couple high end examples (warning, very large images):

Business Strike: http://images.PCGS.com/CoinFacts/25...1476_max.jpg

Proof: http://images.PCGS.com/CoinFacts/25...2385_max.jpg

It may take a little studying to really tell the difference, but the denticles in each are shaped differently.

Hope that helps!
