That surprises me a little, because in the first pictures it looks like it was cleaned with steel wool. Market graded? And I thought for Arnprior that third water line is just a short dash. Huh.

It is an Arnprior. I find ICCS is relatively forgiving on hairlines (lately anyways). Also, I photograph with a flash and a macro lens which tends to bounce a lot of detail off coins and it does tend to make the coins look less appealing but shows even the slightest detail. These hairlines are very very minor with the naked eye.

I too have a 1951 Arnprior in AU55. I have all of the basic 1935-1967 dollars but am not into Arnpriors enough to pay for MS60 and up like I might with the regular issues. AU55 is good enough for me in this coin.
