I purchased this coin recently and would to know if it's real or fake, what raises more suspicions to me is how the protective marks are...

Take it back for a full refund. It was not minted in 1741, nor in Mexico City as claimed, in writing, on the holder. Clear misrepresentation and fraud.

Put it back in the holder and carefully re-staple it.
