I would say it depends on how much they are asking.
Probably goes for around $15.00-$20.00 CDN.
It is .925 Silver as opposed to .80 Silver in Canadian Coins

Even with the exchange rate, that is a good deal.
Go for it.
Rest in Peace

Wait for a better condition example at a higher price, if you ac afford it. Easier to sell later on, if you have to.
This one not much above silver value.

I have a few Newfie silver coins in much the same condition as this one, and no one that I know is overly excited with mine.

bpoc1, thanks for noticing ....

I would say U.S., Canada and Mexico coins are my favorite.
Well .. I do like Great Britain coins too.

My collection runs from ancient to modern ..
I have 74 Dansco albums. Some of my favorites are Type albums.
For Dansco
U.S. Type (7070)
Canada Type (Two album set)
Mexico Type
Japan Type

Intercept shield U.S. type
Whitman U.S. 20th century type.

I buy most of my coins from a few different local coin shops.

Many times I don't have control of what grades to get,
I just have to get what they have.

I picked this one up, but if a better grade one comes in,
I will get that one too ....

Something about New Foundland coins .. I just want to buy them

As a rue, you're not going to find Newfoundland coins in the best of condition, I would buy this one in a heart beat for that price.
