Will be towing a caravan Sydney to Perth (over 4,000 kilometers), plus spending some time motoring around Western Australia. My E55AMG will be staying in Sydney, but THAT would be lotsa fun on such a trip! The Eyre Highway has, as part of it's route, the longest length of straight road in the World. In fact, if you are in a hurry, the 4110 kilometer trip can be done in as little as three days but we saw as much of Southern Australia as could be done in the fifteen days. Our route was nearly 5,000 kilometers. We saw perhaps half a dozen cyclists pedaling their way across Terra Australis (:-) ! The tallest plant in the Nullabor (treeless) Plain would be less than eight inches tall; most of the the time they appear to be dead. Report this Post to the Staff

I have to go away for a couple of days tomorrow but I will ring you when I get back home and hopefully we can arrange to meet up.
