Note the area affected on the reverse. It is reducing the normal size of the devices. (note the tops of the 'ES' on STATES)

Machine damage.

That is why I need to see 3-5 devices per image. Some devices by themselves look enlarged but when you see them with more devices, you can see better what is going on with the coin. Note the tops of the EPU. They look enlarged, but the 'S' on PLURIBUS is showing machine damage as well.

Take a look at the 1960 DDRs on coppercoins. You will note that they are class 2 and class 5 DDRs. They are on the outside edge of the devices. Mostly small notching for that year. So they are a lot harder to see.

I think you guys should take a closer look. It looks like a match for 1960 1¢ WDDR-001. You can see noticeably wider devices and even a misshaped dot.

The S and the dots are a dead giveaway. I just found 2 001s myself.

Look for the die markers listed and see if you are able to match any of them. It's difficult to see any in the images you have posted.

Well those images on Wexler's site are a lot better. It is the 1960 WDDR-001. I let the mark on the top of the 'S' on Pluribus distract me. I even missed the pregnant 'S'. With the coppercoins images so far away, I was missing the most import things. Nice find. on this one. I missed it this time. Good call Clyde.
