About what I expected. Did you get it ham? I would have been a touch leery buying a coin at that cost from a 16 feedback seller that doesn't have any recent sales history

The OP coin sold on ebay by David Lawrence on 8/21/16. When I checked the best offer price, it came up $3710. It appears the buyer was doing a quick flip. See link below.

My scam bells are going off. Hopefully the buyer gets it. If all is legit the seller lost what around $500 with ebay fees

I bought an 1884-S once in a PCGS ms 62 holder and the coin looked good. I sent the coin out to PCGS to get it reholdered because of scratches on the reverse of the case. I checked the verification to make sure that all was good and it verifyed. I got a letter after sending the coin and PCGS stated it was a counterfeit holder. I DID get my money back but beware, they are out there! the coin WILL verifty as well! If the coin I am buying does not have photos taken of the coin when I verify the coin so I can see the marks on the original pictured coin, I will not buy it.

To quote from a previous post "If these marks are significantly sized/a big eyesore, they might bother someone else and might make selling the coin somewhat more difficult." My plans were to keep the coin, and continue to add to my CC dollar collection. I just didn't like the marks on Miss Liberty's neck (wide and deep looking) and on her chin. And NO, I did not buy the coin. Thanks all for your input. Hamm
