Nice upgrades! I especially like the 1837 cent and that nice diebreak.

Nice photos & even nicer coins. One of these days I'm going to master the photography obstacle.

Sell both 1810's and use the money to get a nice one. Very nice upgrades for the others though.

Those Half Cents sure come cheap. Especially for their mintages. 8 million Half Cents minted in the entire 1793-1857 run, and a quarter of them are 1804 and 1809.

Quote: Sell both 1810's and use the money to get a nice one. Sadly, it wouldn't even come close to paying for a nice one. Classic Head Large Cents in nice condition are very rare and very expensive due to the poor quality planchets that were used to make them. We're talking in the thousands of dollars here. For comparison, I paid around $150 each for the Classic Head Half Cent and the Coronet Large Cent.

Nice coins!
Did you sell your "Before" coins to help pay for the "Afters" or did you keep them?

Well, most of my "before" coins aren't really worth much, to be honest, but I gave most of them to my 11-year-old son for his 7070 album.

That was a very nice thing to do. I hope he enjoys them. Nice coins for an eleven year old to own!

Here is my latest (and likely final) upgrade. The "after" pictures are the seller's, but I'm hoping it looks as nice in hand... Before: After: [I decided to stick with the same year on this on, btw, because I happen to have an unusually large number of denominations from 1853 and wanted to keep it that way.]
