The reason 1947 is the end of the classic era is because it was the last year Miss Liberty was on a circulating coin.

Here's how it'll go:

September 6: 1793
September 7: 1794
September 8: 1795
September 9: 1796
And so on


So let's start with some dancing fruit for the great coins that will be posted here!

I feel one thread for all coins for those dates will get too busy. Having them broken up by coin type has worked well.

We are currently working on The 55 Days Of New Orleans minted US coins!!
