When the smoke had cleared one man emerged victorious and was appointed the newest Emperor of Rome. This coin, something I have wanted for years represents the kind of general who would now lead the Empire. The Roman people via this coin were introduced to the General that had crushed a rebellion that threatened the Pax Romana Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.20 g, 6h). "Judaea Capta" commemorative. Rome mint. Struck circa 21 December AD 69-early AD 70. Laureate head right / IVDAEA in exergue, trophy; to right, Judaea seated right in attitude of mourning, head resting in hand. RIC II 2; Hendin 1479; RSC 226. Good VF, toned, a few shallow scratches Edited by caesar77 09/07/2016 4:39 pm

A very strong and forceful portrait, indeed. Coupled with the abjectly themed reverse, there was a quite clear message being sent: this emperor wasn't someone to be trifled with.
From the standpoint of wear (at least with regard to the high relief obverse), I'd rate it nearer the apex of the grading range than you suggest.
Colligo ergo sum
