Excuse my blatant self promotion.

Just in case anyone was after one, I have a nice grade (6 pearls) dot above top, dot below bottom scroll on the bay ending tomorrow. There's a few other nice error coins listed as well, including a rotated 1996 Parkes $1 which are extremely hard to come by.

I'll place a link on the Aussie Forum as well Uni.,but hard to get more than $50 for them these days even thou. I personally think its value is way over $100.,these coins are grossly undervalued, way scarcer than the 1925 and the 1920 Double Dot is plentiful by comparison.

How scarce are these? I noodled one back in July, but I'm still completely in the dark about their mintage and value.

I've only ever found 2 Herc.

Pretty sure that some of Goldie's figures over on ACF suggest that they are much harder to find than a 2000 Mule, obviously just not as popular since they are an rotated die error rather than a mule. (Goldie kept some great stats).

I've only found one (I didn't know it even existed until I found it) but as Unicorn says Goldseeker kept some good statistics - I believe he found 6 from 2.5 million $1 coins (not sure how many 1996 $1 coins he searched in total though).
