This is a very nice looking coin. I don't know Canadian coinage very well but I'm going to say MS-60 on the grade. As for the value? That is easy, $5, what you paid for it. Now if you mean potential worth, you are going to have to wait for someone with more knowledge about Canadian large cents.

I have absolutely NO idea of the value of this coin But I would pay $5 for it in a heartbeat.
Looks like it will grade at MS63ish

Somewhere in the MS63 range for me. You could get something like $50 out of it.

My only concern for this coin is what appears to be a scratch from the V pointing towards the king's crown.

If it is a scratch, and not just in the plastic of the 2x2 or surface fluff/thread/hair etc, then I don't think you would see any where near MS money as problem free high grade examples of these are very easy to find.

If not scratched then
