A few days ago I asked opinions on U.S. Silver dollars, which you guys came through.

Now.. This same fellow has a bunch of U.s. Half Dollars which I would like to know if they are worth purchasing?

1923S-VG8 @ $16.00
1929S- F-12 @$17.00
1935- F-12 @ $8.00
1935S- VF-20 @ $10.00
1936S-VG8 @ $7.00
1941S- F-15 @ $9.00

Thanks for your responses.

Those prices seem a bit more reasonable; however, it all depends on how the coins look to you. Where else have you priced similar coins? I'm sure there are some other folks here that are more familiar with Walkers that can tell you if you're okay or not. At least it appears that you won't be ripped.

Without any pics...of all of those I think the 1935S is the best deal. Everything else is priced at or slightly above trends.

Considering melt value is close to $7.50 the prices at $7/$8/$9 aren't horrendous. The $10/$16/$17 seem a bit high.

Based on Numismedia.

1923S-VG8 @ $16.00 -- a little high
1929S- F-12 @$17.00 -- a little high
1935- F-12 @ $8.00 -- average
1935S- VF-20 @ $10.00 -- average to good
1936S-VG8 @ $7.00 -- average
1941S- F-15 @ $9.00 -- a little high

Silver halves in Good to Fair condition dont seem to be in enough demand to command great prices. I sold an AU 1916 half for $290 recently. However, my G - F halves sell much differently...take a look at this recent ebay auction and sale of mine: 140212552039.

You'll see these coins in AG, G, VG, and F condition can be obtained below list value.

Thanks, again, for your input.. I'll probably pick up the last 4 Walkers, as there isn't any postage or S&H involved.
