First of all a confirmation of the description on the error.

Second, how difficult is it to find in genarally world coins and if it's worth sending for certification

I'm curious about why there don't appear to be any cracks on the obverse.

@numisma, my hypothesis:

first of all ,if it was fractured at obverse as well, it would have become 100 pieces and
never released for circulation.
The cracks must be vertical and started progressing from reverse

Not that massive but the same sort of cracks on a 20C 1894 from Italy..
