nice coin! I'd say a MS65 Red from ICCS. THe fields are pretty clean. From PCGS, would've been a 64 IMO because of the mark on the queen

My first thought was 64 red. Something about just doesn't "pop" enough for 65, IMO. One of those coins that the images/seeing it hand make all the difference.

If it's a new cert I don't see why it wouldn't be a 65 red so I'll say 65 red

66RD, slight chance of hitting south to a 65RD, blemishes seen could have been caused by rusting on the die.

Again, great coin! I had a 1901 MS65RD that had a similar look. Much better in hands than in photos. I can imagine how nice this 1896 looks in hand.

I think your pics are great, Through plastic and you take them where it's easy to understand the surface of a coin, always really like your pics!

I think Canada deserves something better than ICCS, but I don't see it happening.
