Short and simple...is this a DDR? I have had 4 seperate people confirm with me IN PERSON. However, I would like input from my friends at CC :)

I have a 60x magnifier, but it has a little light as you can see. Since its a proof, doesn't really do any justice. If I turn the light off, it becomes even worse lol

That might be too much, try using a 10x and then zoom in.

The areas in the glare appear to be machine damage. Note how they are all the same color of glare. Best to diffuse you light a bit and let the light fall across the devices, not into the area you want to show.

The light diffused and is at 12:00. It falls across the last images of machine damage. Note the affect. Proof coins are harder to photo, but not impossible.

Here is a similar 1963 proof quarter image. What looks like doubling, especially on the L, is an artifact of the lighting produced by my scanner. The coin is perfectly normal. With proof coins in particular, not only can you get weird lighting of the device edges, but you can also get reflections of those edges on the mirror fields. This is especially true of the fully brilliant proofs.
