I would only grade this Vicki as XF and like you dream about one in Choice Unc. Had to settle for this one for the time being as I needed it to complete my pairing of it with the one from the Sydney Mint. Looks like seller has pulled a swifty on your purchase....[:0]

There is quiet a lot of eye appeal and the shieldback looks like AU With the effigy being low XF I guess you would be right in XF overall

Hi all, I haven't posted in a while, but that don't mean that I've lost the fever or forgotten about any of you. Here's one of my most recent purchases, from none other that our very own crystalk64. (that's just a little piece of lint above the 50)

I can say the color PURPLE is really unique on a coin and niobium can be altered from green to blue to purple. Hard telling what they will come up with next year to match the last three issues but know whatever it is IT WILL SELL OUT! Trying to locate one that is affordable for Shatsi but have found nothing less than $65 at this time. Really a unique $25 coin!!!

Ndgoflo - great to see you back! You've been missed. I love the $25 coin - very unique! Lim - more and more I'm appreciating the beauty of the Australian coins. Becky - nice Seated dime. I don't know why the collector market on these coins is so much smaller than the other designs. These coins even look nice circulated.

I like the 56 shilling the best but could make a place in my collection for both. Any coin that has a small mintage holds a special place in my heart! That is the reason I have my wife!!! Mintage 1 and in PROOF condition and on top of all that, she is a coin collector!!!

NO she is a member of MOTHERS, INC. and spends most of her free time with the kids, homework and needs and when she can she is an avid woodworker on top of coin collecting. Have you seen the framed photos cut out of wood? She does The Duke, Clint Eastwood, Marilyn Monroe, the Pope, Elvis and ect.....and the look is really amazing. Currently working on a program to do photos of individuals (done a few) from a supplied photo but finding the time for cutting is a little tough! She (we) also buiid squirrel feeders that requires the squirrel sit in a chair to eat! We have made so many of them its boring. Now the good news is I have added two more coin products this week to my holder line! (Yeah) Those would be the proof set holder out of Oak or Walnut and a new Security Wedge Holder for dealers to protect those big money slabs. They can lie in as little as two and a half inch clearance cabinet if space is a problem or the shelf to glass top is limited or they can be turned to a free standing holder by merely turning the slab 180 degrees and standing it up. This holder completely eliminate the old "bait and switch" that dealers face every day and unless your theif has a very big pocket this wedge won't fit into it. The idea was passed on to me from a dealer so we will see how they go. Now for you guys, gals who have requested a holder for airtites well I am getting closer. Currently have ideas about to leave the paper and going to prototype within the next week or two. Trying very hard to keep it as simple as possible so that they can be produced relatively quickly and economically. Will know something shortly but will say holders for airtights will be custom ordered as there are so many different size airtites available. Also want everyone to know these holders will be for the airtites that have the inner cushion around the coin ONLY at this time. I have not even considered the direct fit airtite at this time. Will keep you posted and try to get one to Susan when they are finally produced. Now, to get back onto the topic of coins!!!
