I want to know if this coin has any additional value based upon its characteristics.

Here are the obverse and reverse shots:

Take a look at the parts under the 'CE' and under the chin.

I had to hold the coin at a 45 degree angle for the object under the chin to show up:

Your clash isn't very large and most likely adds no value.

Clashes were more common on Steel wheat cents. That trench around the bust was common on the wheat cents. With the die flow setting in, it looks like the coin was struck with a LDS die at the time. Is the coin shiny or semi gloss? The lighting may to bright making it look reprocessed? The obverse rims are showing some rust, so the surface maybe natural.

coop, could you please elaborate a bit more here w/r/t this ? on precisely what I need to determine in this to most appropriately respond?

Also, ref the luster of the surface, it is definitely semi gloss.

On the reprocessed 1943 steel cents, they often plate them rather than give the zinc coating that should be on them. Often the coins are dipped or brushed, but often the rust that was on them still shows through the plating. The color should be dull looking:

1943-Steel-Cent-Clash...
1943-Steel-Cent-Clash...
1943-Steel-Cent-Clash...

Even high grade coins should look like that:
1943-Steel-Cent-Clash...
1943-Steel-Cent-Clash...
1943-Steel-Cent-Clash...
Too much light can make them appear a little glossy. But reprocessed coins just never look right:

Hope this helps. Sometimes see the differences help us to raise red flags when they don't look correct.
