I am not asking anyone to search the 90 listed BIEs for me - I have been working on it. I detect no markers on my coin - no chips or cracks. There could be a rim Cud to the right of the date, but it is questionable.

Keep in mind you have a mint mark on your coin, so you could rule out a lot of the BIEs with the location of the mint marks. That would speed things up a lot.

049A? No your BIE doesn't match. I was just doing the date over for LDB4-1957D-029 - your's being a possible different die stage of that one. What do you think?
The only other one that is catching my eye is LDB4-1957D-036 again yours being a different die stage?
These are tough ones.
I just realized there are 90 listing for D's - 1957 is listed separately.

Quote: The only other one that is catching my eye is LDB4-1957D-036 I agree with CoinCents on it being #36. Yours just looks like it had a rougher life that the one that is listed on COC. MM looks like the right location as well.

Fantastic - glad we could help and I certainly understand. I love trying to match up the BIE's - so any time you post one I'll probably jump right in on the hunt.

The date on this one does not line up completely - note some overlap on the 1 and the 9. I do not know how to judge acceptable tolerance on these overlays!

Not quite sure myself - both your coin and the one listed have seen a good bit of circulation so I am sure there will be some variances. Maybe email JC just to make sure.

Yeah I think this one should be confirmed by JC

Quote: Yeah I think this one should be confirmed by JC I have decided not to message JC about this one. It seems so minor to me that it might be better not to bother him. I have had 14 coins listed online with most of them being at COC, so I have bothered him enough already!
