Hi, I'm new to this but I just got a $50 note and it has pg printed in a corner and also some kind of stamp on the other side that's not on any other note I've seen. Hoping someone can help me some info.

Sounds like something put there by a Bank teller or similar. Can you post a picture?

Moneychangers in overseas countries, especially in Asia, will often stamp the notes that pass through their hands. Such stamping is illegal in Australia.

Here's an old thread with a $50 note stamped "RB1".
