I bring you the 63 Days of Coins of the Old West! These are the coins of the US Western Cowboy, the Prospector, and the Saloon Owner!!


How does this work?

Post your Carson City and San Francisco minted coins according to the schedule below! It's that easy! Yes, we want all your Half Dimes, Dimes, 20 Cents, Quarters, Half Dollars, Dollars (silver and gold), 3 Dollars, Quarter Eagles, Half Eagles, Eagles and Double Eagles!! (And anything else you think fits into a year!!)

If you're late, please post your coins as soon as you can. We want to see EVERY coin that fits into that year's category! (TRY not to post early...)

There's a lot of S and CC mint coins out there pre-1878 that are not uber-expensive.

I am getting the feeling we will be seeing some very nice coins in this thread.

I wish I was better at taking pictures of coins ....

Or maybe I need better coins to take pictures of ....

I was right- I don't have many coins for this thread. Four, in fact. And three of those were minted before 1878 (they also happen to be from three consecutive years).
