I tried to take some pictures of Ike Dansco albums.
There are two different options.
7176 - P and D with 40% Bu version Ike's.
8176 - Adds the clad and silver clad proofs.

You can fill the unlabeled holes any way you choose.
I am sure no one would use a blow torch on Ike ...

Nice pics, GR58.

I wonder why the spacing between rows 2 & 3 is greater than between rows 1 & 2 and rows 3 & 4 in the 7176. The rows in the 8176 are all evenly spaced.

This thread made my day!

The 8176 has one row per slide. The 7176 has two rows per slide, so the rows sharing a slide are closer to each other.

You could have filled an empty hole with a 'j' buck...

Great post and lovely to see the pictures! I do recall that you have 72 more Dansco albums, so keep 'em coming!

@CotW, good choice. It's really a satisfying set to complete and you'll love having those beautiful shiny proofs.

@jbuck - thanks for clearing that up. It looks "off" to me regardless, but whatever; it still looks great full of Ikes!

It was good to take some pictures of these set. It makes me
see that some of the coins could use upgrading. Funny part
I am sure I have better coins for some of them. Maybe when
I get older I will take the time and put better coins in the
albums.

For those that might want a different challenge. You might
try doing a roll set. Take a 500 coin roll box. It will
hold 25 coin tubes that hold 20 coins each.

For me this box has changed a few times since I started.
First I started out just filling the box.

Where it is now is
16 rolls for Clad - one each year P and D
5 rolls for 40% - 1971, 72, 73, 74 and 76 (mixed BU/Proof)
That leaves 4 rolls - I use them for 71 and 72 year coins,
because those are harder to find in better grade coins.
(rolls of clad proofs .. not sure what to do with yet)

I am finding it harder to find the 1976 type 1 Ike's

The picture are close to where I am currently, without having
to take new pictures.
