To help me keep track of what coins I have I like creating webbpages so I can refer to it no matter what device I'm on. Quite handy if you see a last minute auction when at work and you just want to check what date it is you have.

I've created this page of minor world silver.

http://www.diadumenian.com/Congress...20coins.html

There are lot of links that don't actually go anywhere yet - though anything that links back to my world crown pages would work.

The photography is rather rubbish - so I'll have to redo those when I get the right setup - but it's quite a nice handy way to keep track of things. There's a wide variety of coins displayed there from scrap silver to £100+ coins, but value isn't of primary importance - only their history

I haven't counted but there must be a couple of hundred or so.

If you have a look - Enjoy!

Nice work. I like the pics of the various rulers under which the coins were minted. Nice to have a photo or painting of the person in the portrait to bring it alive a little bit more.

Thanks - yes that's what I like to associate - the ruler/people of the time and place with the object.

If you haven't seem my actual "congress of princes" page it has all thaler/similar sized coins with quite an interesting photograph and story that goes with them.

I still haven;t got round to getting my Roman denari page up - there's over 100 of them to do and I'm running out of space :(

The Poland 200 zloty 1974 and the 10 groszy 1840 were minted in Warsaw. You can add that to your info box. The 200 zloty has the modern Warsaw mintmark symbol. I suspect the pattern Polish coin will also have this symbol. The 10 groszy has the MW letters which signify Warsaw as well.

Thanks - that's useful. There seems to have been quite a few of those Polish pattern pieces made.

There's lots of things to tidy up - like how half of the US coins are labelled "2 Dollars" ?

I was going to mention the ruler's images, as well. Nice touch!
