914studios New Member United States 13 Posts	Posted 09/26/2016 6:43 pm Found this 1961 Denver Lincoln Cent. There looks like material has slid off of TRUST and IN on the top of the coin. I see no apparent damage to the coin in this area and the area around the lettering looks clean. Opinions? Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 09/27/2016 11:34 am A vending machine error would rub the coin in a circular direction depending how the machine is set up showing a parallel to the rim affect. The coin wrapper damage will push the devices inwards/smear the damage usually parallel to the rim with the damage more to the inside of the devices. Often the highest points of the coin can be affected. Either way, it is still a damaged coin turning it into a cull. Report this Post to the Staff
