1891 Seated Liberty Dime Token - Coin Community Forum

GR58 Bedrock of the Community United States 11951 Posts	Posted 09/27/2016 10:57 am I have looking at this dime/token for a couple weeks. Wondering how collectible it is, and what value it has. Not sure if this would be considered a love token. My guess is it was done late 1800's, but not sure how to tell. Pics are with my iPad, sure not very good. Value, I am no expert, but my assessment of love tokens is such: A numismatist considers it a damaged coin. Love token collectors are far fewer, but this is a nice one. Pistareen Valued Member United States 309 Posts	Posted 09/27/2016 3:59 pm I think the leftmost letter is first and the topmost letter is last so this reads "EIB." If you can find a buyer with those initials it may bring good money. Otherwise it is about a ten dollar love token. Report this Post to the Staff
