When I started collecting variety and error coins about a year ago, this was one of the first things I found. I thought, "This is EASY!" Haven't seen one since then.

Nice find chrono! Tropical can you zoom out a bit on that my eyes are playing tricks on me but its not looking like a doubled ear to me what year is it? Edit: I think I see it now the picture was playing tricks on my eyes

Hey Slamnbass, You are right! I looked at my photo and it does seem to have an optical illusion effect that is quite confusing. Here is the whole coin.

Even viewing the full images, they might look different between the two coins. But when you make both images the same size, then you can see they are from that die.
