Hey guys,
I just received my new Dansco album- Australian 50c #7338-2

Most are filled in, I still need:
1966
1986
1987
1989
1990
1992
2000*

There are three 2000 slots, one is for the Royal Visit and one
for Millennium, the last is -all it says 16,630,000. I have both the Millennium and Royal Visit, What is the other one?

Also question on the slipcover.
When I bought this album I did know which size I should get so I didn't get one. What is the slipcover size for this album?

Thanks,
mila_

'66 is the round, silver one. Bullion value is around $7-8 now, I think. Plenty come up on ebay.
2000 was only two I know of;
-millenium (16,630,000)
-Royal visit (5,145,000)
You could use the third slot for an 'incused' millenium variety -fairly scarce but often sold on ebay for around $15-20. Also, the proof used a different die to circulation (smaller flag and writing closer to rim).
The others were mint issue years only -none to general circulation. Sometimes circulated ones are found. Again ebay is a good source, or ask bigfella -he probably has all of these in his shop.

cheers
Jeff

Here are some images of my 50 cent UNC set. They were taken a while ago now and are not up to date with what is actually in there in regards to the recent coins. Cheers.

Justa...
I think I'll be done once I can fill in these holes.....
1966, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1992, 2000 incused

Thanks Jeff I'd forgotten about that one.. 'incused'.

Then maybe I'll try for the 2006's Commonwealth Games,
2002 Accession, 2003 Coronation and 2005 80th Birthday.

Are you using a slipcase with your album? If so which size?
Are extra pages available for this album?

If anyone is looking for some missing 50¢ (or 20¢ too) then I have most.
I have been sorting $400 change each week -alternate 20¢ & 50¢- for over 12 months now for the sought after commemoratives and key years. But, I also put aside any common ones I find that are in much better than average condition for the age.
I am starting to put them together now to make full sets and don't have many gaps -no gaps if I am prepared to accept average quality for some.
So, please ask me and I can probably help -I am always willing to swap.
No wavey 2 1966 20¢ (only ever found 2 of those) or incused millennium (never, ever found one yet -must happen one day) but I usually have a few spare 2004 20¢ bighead/pointy A.

cheers
Jeff

I have some florins here now but they are not mine -I am just valuing some coins for someone else. They could be for sale. Lots of other pre-decimal too (and English pennies)!
What about NZ pre-decimal (including some half crowns)

When I have got around to sorting them and talked to the owner, I will post details on the forum.

No I don't collect pre-decimal now. I sold a lot on ebay about six months ago and that was it. Got nice prices too

Hi Mila,
I use a slipcase for all the 24 Dansco supreme albums I have currently. They measure about 32mm (1-1/4") on the inside where the album slips in.
50 cent pages are available but only as a 12 coin page. I didn't like that as the original pages are 16 coin, so I purchased an additional album to use the pages from, hence the writing on the last page, which will eventually be covered by the written yellow tape. Cheers.
