Well after more than 5 years and 500 boxes searched I finally found the last coin in the wild I needed in order to complete my set of Jeffersons from circulation. It ain't pretty but it has plenty of street cred going for it.

It has character in spades! It may have been dug from the ground with a spade!

Are you putting together a set from just roll hunting? This was the last one in the wild I had to find to claim they all came from circulation. I did swap a few of the later 1960 and 1970's out with coins from mint sets I purchased but every other one 1964 and older (except the unc 1950D) is from circulation / roll hunting. https://goccf.com/t/194022&SearchTe...efferson,setYou can view the pictures of the set here: https://goccf.com/t/194022&whichpage=2#1801171

I'm late to the party ... but extending my sincere congratulations to you. on not only that 1950-D Jefferson ... but also the completion of your roll-found Jefferson set. Welcome to the small club of CCF members who have achieved that goal! Quote: It ain't pretty but it has plenty of street cred going for it I agree with that ... yours is the most honestly circulated 1950-D Jefferson I've ever seen. I have been fortunate to find two (353,600 coins searched) and both were AU. I like yours. David

Congratulations Jack! Well earned! You've amassed a number of beauties along this journey; many fun finds. Hopefully some of David's luck befalls you and you'll find a better one in a few weeks. But nothing will replace that find; great sentimental value. Enjoy!
