Does anyone feel that this could be a yet-to-be listed D over S on this '30-S Indian Head nickel?

It looks like a slightly rotated-clockwise 'D' punched over an 'S'.

You say?

This close-up might help out some. It looks like the bottom loop of the 'D' is partially in the rim:

I see no one has chimed in so...To me it looks like an S that is worn.No D/S in my non-pro opinion.

The nickel looks pretty worn. It would be hard to tell what it looked like when it was struck. The circulation wear on the mint mark just kind of tells it is a 'S' mint mark. Other than that is would be hard to tell for sure.

Just looks like wear into the rim, as on the letters N, T and S to the right.

You would have to find a MS example to tell, but as of now, just looks like a circulated buff

It'd be near impossible to tell with how worn it is
